The thought of investing in skincare may seem daunting to some folks. Celebrities spend upwards of thousands of dollars on their own skin routine to achieve amazing results. However, you don’t need to break your wallet to have a bomb AF skincare. Here is my list of skin care products for different skin types while being on a budget:

For oily skin

If your skin is oily like mine, you’ll want a product that controls those pesky oils. The first product on any skin care routine is a cleanser. The best cleanser on the market is Neutrogena’s Oil-free Acne wash facial cleanser. This product helps reduce both inflammation and acne.  It’s the #1 recommended cleanser due to the Salicylic acid which helps eliminate impurities and acne as well as prevent over drying and clogging residue.

For those with dry skin the best product to retain those oils would be the Hydro Boost Daily Gel Cream Exfoliating Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid. This cleanser is gentle on the skin and can be utilized for daily use. Not only does it hydrate the skin, but softens as well. This cleanser is a raving five stars due to wiping all the dirt, grime, without any harshness.

The next step is the toner which helps even out the skin. The best option for oily skin would be the Botanics Shine Away Mattifying Toner. The product contains willow bark which helps this toner purify, absorb and tighten pores. This has had amazing reviews due to the natural ingredients in the product and lasts all day which is a bonus. Those with oily skin would definitely appreciate that!

For Dry Skin

Toners can be drying for the skin. No need to worry about that because using Brightening All Bright Cleanser Toner will prevent exactly that. This toner energizes the skin and leaves it revitalized and prepared for the next step. This product is #1 in the market since the product lasts you and definitely removes the makeup you didn’t think you have. It’s not harsh for the face, and leaves your face bomb AF.

The next step is serum. The best suggestion would be the Vichy Mineral 89 Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum. This serum helps boost moisture after the toner and plumps and fortifies to reveal a healthy and luminous glow. Vichy also contains Vitamin C which is a plus for your skin. This serum also applies to both skin types.

Lastly, moisturizer. In order to leave everything in place, I recommend the Oil Free Moisture Combination Skin. This dual action formula moisturizes where it needs nourishment while leaving a softer smoother matte finish. This product has raving reviews since its a 2 for 1 special, namely, how it can hydrate and make the skin seem luminous, but also leaving out the oils.

Now to lock everything in place the best moisturizer to use is the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Dry/Sensitive skin. This is the #1 moisturizer on the market due to its capabilities of not only hydrating, but the effects are seen quickly and it’s the best that people have tried. This moisturizer leaves intense and lasting moisture to replenish sensitive, dry skin. People with dry skin have left reviews saying this is the best moisturizer that they have used. This can be used for the body as well!
