Terrell Owens opens up about life after competing on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice
Football star turned reality star Terrell Owens spoke with Entertainment Scoop’s Vivian Adaobi at Kari Feinstein’s Pre-Oscars Style Lounge about the impact his appearance on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice had on his career.
Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, or T.O. for short, isn’t new to reality TV. He starred on VH1’s “The T.O. Show” for three seasons. The show followed his football career, love life, and close friendship with his publicists. Terrell shared with Entertainment Scoop how his “persona” on the football field and the show could be polarizing. But competing on Celebrity Apprentice helped him to show another side of himself that America hasn’t always seen.
Competing on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice 14th season with business mogul Donald Trump shed new light on Terrell Owen’s abilities outside of sports. Terrell Owens competed on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, but was fired in task 5. While he did not win the coveted title, Terrell was able to show that he’s more than just a football player.
Terrell Owens was happy to share with Vivian Adaobi some of the new endeavors he is pursuing after competing on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice. He says his fans would be happy to see him return to TV and he is considering it too, but not just in the reality TV realm. Terrell Owens is excited to pursue opportunities as an actor on TV and the big screen.
