Fabulous Says Hip-Hop Can Inspire

FabolousDuring our interview with Fab, he sent lots of positive vibes in the direction of his good friend and fellow rapper Common, who stars in the latest action thriller “Run All Night.”  He congratulated Common for his Grammy’s and Oscar win in the category of Original Song for “Glory”, for the movie Selma. This win, although monumental for Common and John Legend (who co-wrote the song), was also a huge moment for the world of hip-hop. Hip hop isn’t only limited to the streets, and the club scene but it can also make a different in many other areas of art, and influence the masses in other ways. “It shows that you can come from the hip-hop world and still be involved…it shows hip-hop can inspire in different ways.”

Fabolous Talks Upcoming Tour

If you love Fabolous and have heard his new Digital Album “The Young OG Project”, brace yourself because there’s a tour on the way! The Brooklyn hip-hop star still hasn’t lost his touch in the industry. The 40 year-old-rapper talked about some upcoming work and exclusively told Entertainment Scoop that he has plans to go on tour for his latest release, the digital album “The Young OG Project.” The Album can be described as Loso’s ode to 90’s hip-hop and features a laundry list of artists from Chris Brown, Young Homie Quan, to funny man Kevin Hart. The 11 track digital project was released on Christmas Day in 2014 and sold over 70,000 copies within its first 5 days.

In an Instagram post Fabolous thanked his fans for their support of the album, an album that was produced in one month, in the Brooklyn rapper’s private New Jersey studio. He later joked that his fans owed him the $10 for the previous 3 free mixtapes he released. His previous album was “Loso Way”, which he released back in 2009.

“Thank You! 71k sold in 5 days of a ALL DIGITAL ALBUM!! #TheYoungOGProject was put together in a month. NO big radio single lead out, NO national promo, NO tour, NO CD in stores, NO over the top marketing, NO corporate sponsors, NO TV exposure.. just YOU ALL! People who appreciate my music & support it. Again I THANK YOU. And into the new year I will continue to work this project & make more #Moves!! P.S. Yall owed me that $10 for the 3 Free Mixtapes
