After many rumors of rappers G-Eazy and Megan Thee Stallion have come been swirling, after a NSFW post Monday, they may be a confirmed item. G-Money took to his Instagram story on Monday to showcase his affection for the Meg with what could be described as kissing and highly sexual touching. Though the video was deleted shortly after, fans that screenshot the video have since reposted it on Twitter, confirming that the two successful rappers are in a physical relationship at the least.
Whether officially dating or not, it has yet to be confirmed or denied. Megan Thee Stallion has yet to post any pictures or videos of the two together, but she did post a picture on her Instagram that drew a comment from G-Eazy. She is seen posing in front of stairs and partying with Sean “Diddy” Combs and French Montana with the caption, “I ain’t turn into no bad bitch when you met me boy I BEEN that,” which G-Eazy commented with a single, eye rolling emoji. The two up until this point have been out as single. G-Eazy dating singer Halsey in 2018 and a brief fling with Yasmin Wijnaldum soon after, while Meg had been seeing rapper Moneybagg Yo as recently as January. Moneybagg Yo officially confirmed their split in January during an interview with Hot97 and is now dating Instagram model Ari Fletcher.
As for music, both artists have hinted at new albums being dropped this year, but no release date has been set yet. G-Eazy confirmed in an interview with NME at the Open’er Festival 2019, that it will arrive “very soon,” and added, “It’s an album about coming home and an album that’s a full circle… an album about completing the journey and not forgetting your roots and who you are.” The California rapper’s last album was ‘The Beautiful and the Damned’ – his third record which was released in December 2017. Though we know it features a collaboration with Lil Wayne, fans will just have to keep waiting for further news on his fourth studio album. Megan Thee Stallion has been much more active with mixtapes and a number of features on other artist’s albums. Just on January 23rd the Houston native released forthcoming debut LP, “Suga”, with its lead single “B.I.T.C.H.” She also stated on a video she posted on her Twitter that her friend and famous singer/songwriter SZA will be appearing on her new album: “I’m not gonna lie, my friend SZA, she pulled up on me in the studio. We have a song together that’s gonna be on my album too, it was so fire making that with her. Juicy J produced it, we know I love Juicy J. We got a lot of bangers on the album.” Fans will just have to wait and see when these albums are going to be released, as well as to see if G-Eazy and Megan Thee Stallion are officially dating as more information is sure to be announced soon.
