Dana and David began the foundation in memory of their father, who lost his battle to cancer in 2000, and loving mother who passed away in 2012. As for the mission of their foundation, raising funds for cancer awareness and treatment became their priority. The foundation seeks to engage the community, sports leaders and those affected by the disease.

The foundation has also created the Carole Pump Women’s Center and Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital. Diagnostic imaging is a vital role of the women’s center. Technology at the center surpasses conventional film-based systems, which have the capacity to zoom-in to view refined detailed images. Offering women the opportunity for shorter and rapid exams.

Friday’s Gala benefited the Harold Pump Department of Radiation Oncology, the Carole Pump Women’s Center and the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Cancer Center at Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
