Justin Bieber gave an emotional tribute to Voice Contestant Christina Grimmie.

The night before the Orlando massive shooting of 49 people dead, Christina Grimmie was shot dead during an autograph signing with fans.

A vigil was held last night for the talented singer in her New Jersey hometown. Plenty of celebrities payed tribute to the deceased singers like  Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth, and Justin Bieber.

While Justin Bieber payed tribute to Grimmie he dedicated his song “Purpose” to her and even changed the words to “Grimmie can you hear me?”

According to Billboard Justin Bieber personally knew Grimmie through his girlfriend Selena Gomez whom father managed her.

Gomez and Grimmie became very close over the years, which she also had her own separate tribute in Miami.

Grimmie past Voice coach Adam Levine offered to pay for Grime’s funeral. After the word got out about Grimmie ‘s death her fans started a GoFund me in honor of her and it has already raised over $150,000 for her family.


Christina Grimmie was an American singer and songwriter, known for her participation in the NBC singing competition The Voice and for her covers of hit songs by contemporary pop musicians. In June 2011, she released her debut EP, Find Me. Her studio album With Love was released in 2013. A second EP, Side A, was released in 2016.

In 2014, Grimmie took part in season 6 of The Voice and finished in third place. Adam Levine, her coach on the show, announced in the finale that regardless of the results he would sign her to his label 222 Records. Lil Wayne also offered to sign her to his label, Young Money Entertainment. She was signed with Island Records for a short time before being dropped.
