Justin Bieber is a lover and a fighter. After attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland, the “Love Yourself” singer wasn’t expecting a huge guy to take a swing at him. On Wednesday night, Justin got into a street brawl with a guy outside of the Westin hotel, and it’s still unclear what started the boys to battle it out Floyd Mayweather style.
Justin Bieber fell to the ground after the man attacked him.
TMZ obtained footage of the fight that showed the singer getting punched by a man much bigger than him. In the video, which was captured on a phone and quite possibly uploaded to Snapchat since there was a caption that read, “Justin Bieber getting his a** kicked,” you can see the man beating Justin Bieber to the ground, literally. It looks like the “Sorry” singer took the first swing after the two exchanged a few words, but before Justin’s bodyguards could step in, the man had tackled the blonde hit maker to the floor.
In the video, you can see that several people were standing nearby and they tried to jump in once the first punch was thrown. It’s unknown what started the fight, but it could’ve easily been post-game trash talk, as TMZ points out. According to the publication, witnesses revealed Justin Bieber was getting a lot of requests to take photos with fans, and it could be he was peeved since he’s admitted pictures irritate him.
However, Justin Bieber fans can rest well tonight knowing that the “Company” singer’s face wasn’t harmed. In a now deleted Instagram post, the blonde hit maker shared a close-up shot of his face (and shirtless body), captioning, “Not a scratch on this pretty boy.” Here’s to hoping this is the last brawl Bieber gets himself into, especially since he’s trying to clean up his bad boy image.
