March 15th marked the the night of Marcedes Lewis’ 5th Annual Celebrity Casino Night in Los Angeles. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ tight end hosted an exciting evening filled with food, drinks and, of course, fun games. Special guests included many a sport player, including NFL linebacker Brian Banks and San Francisco outfielder Jarrad Page, actors Robbie Jones and Joe Manganiello, TV personality Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, and more.
All of the proceeds from the event went to the Marcedes Lewis Foundation, which was formed from Lewis’ passion for community and educating children. The foundation’s main mission is to inform the younger generation about leading a healthy lifestyle as well as providing scholarships for students to pursue a sport of their choice. It also stresses maintaining good grades as well as promoting teamwork while providing emotional, academic and social growth. It also funds an annual free youth camp that is hosted by Lewis and takes place at his former high school – Long Beach Poly High School.
