There has been some ongoing beef between Taylor Swift and Kanye West every since he released his song “Famous” calling her a “bitch” and stating that he made her famous.
After the song was released Taylor Swift quickly denied knowing anything about the song and claimed West never ran the song by her. West informed the public that he most defiantly ran the song by Swift and she gave her blessings for the song.
Watch the video below.
West wife, Kim Kardashian was so angry about Swift denying knowing anything about the song she expressed it in a recent “Vogue” interview, but she didn’t stop there because Sunday night Kardashian took to Snapchat showing a recorded conversation between West and Swift which she gave her blessing for the song.
After the release of the video fans started to drag Swift in her comments.
Which caused Swift to be furious and wants to seek legal actions towards West after embarrassing her and basically making her look like a liar in front of the whole world.
A letter from Swift’s attorney states: “Demand is hereby made that you immediately destroy all such recordings, provide us of assurance that this has been done, and also assurance that these recordings have not been previously disseminated,” per the Hollywood gossip website, which claims to have a copy.
Swift might have problems to her lawsuit because in California, if someone records a “confidential communication” and the other party to the conversation doesn’t know it’s being taped, it’s a crime. But “confidential communication” does not include conversations that “may be overheard.”
If you watch the whole video Swift was on speaker phone and during the call producer Rick Ruben and the crew that was recording the call can be heard as well. Which shows that Taylor was aware of her being overheard, which means West did not violate any law.
The real question is why did Kanye West record he and Swift conversation and why hold the footage this long.
