2015 has seen the Duchess of Cambridge Kate really come out on top with her fashion choices. While the majority of us were walking around in our novelty jumpers and fancy Christmas antlers, the Duchess of Cambridge donned another gorgeous outfit as she joined other members of the Royal Family including the head of state for the annual royal engagements.
On Christmas day, the beautiful 33 year old Duchess kept in line with the Christmas theme. She wore a forest green belted coat to the traditional Christmas services. The church service were held as usual at the Sandringham estate.
Always the stunner, Kate’s outfit comprised of a £70 dress by Great Plains which she wore under a Sportmax belted green coat costing £611 in which she pinned an oak leaf and acorn broach to acknowledge the Middleton’s coat of arms. The outfit was finished off with Kiki McDonough earrings, a Lock and Co hat, Rhumba Aquatalia boots and one of her favorite purses, a Mulberry clutch.
The Stylish Middleton combined traditional British classics with modern style trends, a look which followed a recent style overhaul earlier in the year. This fashion overhaul became a favourite with many and caused Glamour Magazine to quip that her new style “makes the posh look relatable to non-royals”.
The family walked past approximately 1,000 plus well wishers who turned out to wish the royals seasons greetings at their traditional Christmas Services. Many of the well wishers wore their best festive jumpers and Union Jacks.
Earlier in the month The Duchess looked stunning in a red pleated skirt dress by Alexander McQueen keeping the Christmas theme going.
The stylish Duchess has been compared to the late Princess Diana for her dedication to charitable organizations, breaking traditional royal protocol often causing conflicts with the Queen as well as her stylish efforts. We can definitely say that 2015 has been a stylish year for the royal. We can’t wait to see what 2016 looks like.
