We caught up with actor Tom Holland at the premier of his latest movie In the Heart of the Sea. A survival story of crewman stranded at sea after a whale of mammoth size and strength attacks their ship. Pushed to their limits facing storms, starvation, panic and despair, the survivors must resort to the unthinkable to stay alive. An experience that later inspired the great novel Mobey-Dick.
Tom talked about being apart of the film as a no brainer saying “When Ron Howard phones you up and says hey I’m making this film do you wanna be in it? It doesn’t matter what the film is you just say yes.” After finding out who all was going to be in the film(Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, Brendan Gleeson) Tom said “It was never gonna be a no.”
Actors in this film faced a difficult challenge of losing weight for the role to convey starving crewmen stranded at sea. When we asked Tom about it he said “Theres no way of making that easy,” he continued to say “It just was really difficult.”
Before we let him go we got to ask him what we should expect in the new Spider-Man Reboot set to come out July 28th, 2017. Holland said “Awesome things, I think it’s gonna be really great. I don’t know anything as of yet. All I know is its gonna be a lot of fun for me and audiences, and their gonna love it.”
