Zendaya at the LadyLike Foundation’s 7th Annual Women of Excellence Luncheon

Zendaya just graduated high school and is so proud of herself! As she should be!

Saturday morning, the Disney star was honored at the LadyLike Foundation’s 7th Annual Women of Excellence Luncheon for her achievements and philanthropy.

The LadyLike Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering young women living in underprivileged communities.

We recently chatted with Zendaya about her latest accomplishments including her receiving her high school diploma last Thursday.

Its been a really long journey. It wasn’t easy at at being so busy. It was something I really made a priority especially since my parents are both educators so I’m proud of myself. Hopefully I inspire a lot of others who are graduating whether it be high school college or whatever. And just keep getting their education and remember that its very important to have.

Zendaya also sees college in her future!

I mean absolutely. Not this very second cuz I’m super busy. Like I said both my parents are educators so its definitely an important thing for me.

The 17 year old singer tweeted last Thursday that the early release of Orange Is The New Black was the best graduation gift. We asked her if she started binge watching on the popular Netflix series.

I’ve been a little busy. But soon!

Congrats Zendaya!
