Now that classes are over and summer is in full swing, beach getaways are all we can think about!

America is home to many wonderful beach destinations all along its coastline, but for college students, cost is always an issue that comes to mind. The truth is, a beach vacation doesn’t always have to break the bank if you plan your trip right.

Below are eight affordable summer beach getaways to help you live your best life this season!

Wells Beach, Maine

If you are looking to vacation up in the New England states this summer, then Wells Beach may be the perfect fit for you!

Wells Beach offers an over seven-mile-long stretch of sandy shore for you to enjoy. Other attractions include lobster boat tours, exploring the local nature preserves, lighthouse tours, and of course eating out at the local restaurants.

On top of that, shoppers come from all ends of the Earth to enjoy the 25-plus antique shops that Wells has to offer. It is called the Antique Capital of the World after all. 

Virginia Beach, Virginia

Since it’s known for its bustling boardwalk, miles of coastline, and vibrant night lift, Virginia Beach is sure to have something for everyone.
