04 Mar Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Welcome Their Sixth Child
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria, share pictures of their newborn daughter on social media, surrounded by family. They welcomed their sixth child together, Lucia via surrogate.
The couple, married in 2012, shared the news of their newest addition to the family on social media, Tuesday. The 37-year-old mother posted a photo of her surrounded by their six previous children as she holds the newborn baby.
The couple just recently welcomed their son, Eduardo in September of 2020. Their children are, Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 4, Romeo, 2, Eduardo, 6 months and Lucia. Alec has a 25-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Alec Defends Hilaria
The 62-year-old actor fired back at a commenter on his post, raising suspicions about the timing between the birth of their baby, Eduardo in September, and Lucia.
“Who’s the mother? She wasn’t pregnant. She gave birth six months ago. If it was a surrogate just say that. If the baby was adopted just say that. Or if the baby was a product of an affair and you’ve decided to raise it with your wife just say that,” said the commenter.
“Wish I knew why people are so mean,” a fan commented in defense of Alec and his family.
“Because basically, they’re not very smart. Americans are people who know less about how to live a peaceful, healthy life than most of the civilized world,” he responded to the fan.
While neither Alec or Hilaria have confirmed or made a public statement, Page Six stated that the couple used a surrogate for baby Lucia. Rumors began to spread after Hilaria followed a surrogacy program on Instagram.
Congrats to Alec and Hilaria on the arrival of Lucia!
