Bella Thorne Apologizes To OnlyFans Creators

Just in case you didn’t know, Bella Thorne made an OnlyFans. With it, she was able to make $2 million in just a matter of days.

Shortly after this, OnlyFans made a few changes to its policy. They placed a cap of $50 on pay-per-view content. A cap of $100 was also placed on tips that creators could receive. Many people blamed Thorne for these changes. People were also upset because they believed that Thorne was selling “nudes” for $200. Thorne had previously stated that she would not be providing that type of content.

Thorne took to Twitter to apologize to the people who use OnlyFans as their main source of income. She stated:

“I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a chance to normalize the stigma, and in trying to do this I hurt you. I have risked my career a few times to remove the stigma behind sex work, porn, and the natural hatred people spew behind anything sex related.”

In a second tweet, she added:

“…I am a mainstream face and when you have a voice, a platform, you try to use you in helping others and advocate for something bigger than yourself. Again in this process I hurt you and for that I’m truly sorry.”

OnlyFans made a statement where they said that their decision was not based on any sole creator. They stated that these limits were put in place to protect their users from overspending.
