Best Spots in L.A. for Singles to Meet their Summer Boo

It’s time for us singles to get back out there and take a chance on love…or get lucky for the night. Either way, let’s be safe about it! As L.A. slowly starts to reopen businesses like restaurants and bars, here are a few magical places worth checking out to find your summer fling!

The Bungalow

An amazing spot if you’re in Santa Monica and enjoy “huge house party” feel. It has a multi-room setup with an indoor and outdoor setting, as well as activities like ping pong and seats by a fire pit. It’s also steps away from the beach, giving it that perfect summer vibe. All in all, this is a great place to meet other singles in the area.

Blind Barber

Located in Highland Park—secretly hidden behind a barbershop—awaits a speakeasy with DJ’s playing your favorite jams. A great place to dance with friends or get lucky.

The Short Stop

One of the hot spots to hit before or after a Dodger game, located in Echo Park, is for those of you who love a good themed party! Every weekend (before COVID-19) they have a retro night, a dance floor with groovy music, and they have a photo booth! Absolutely perfect for taking cute pictures after meeting a potential summer boo.

Good Times at Davey Wayne’s

If you’re into a 70’s themed bar, live music, and a beautiful patio—this Hollywood spot is for you! It is a very casual, house party vibe with comfy couches, as well as an old-school dance floor. The bar located in the patio is super cute and great for making conversation with a special someone away from the crowd.

Rock and Reilly’s

Located in the heart of West Hollywood, this place is perfect for singles to meet other singles. It is a bar-restaurant on the Sunset Strip with great food, good music, and a wide selection of whiskey and beer!

 The Virgil

This spot in East Hollywood is packed with entertainment each week. With comedy shows, live music, drag nights, and DJ parties, it’d be pretty hard to not find your next boo. They have fun themed cocktail nights like “Sunday Fresh,” “Tiki Tuesdays,” and “Whiskey Wednesdays.” Meeting your soulmate at a bar /club doesn’t have to be limited to weekends only!
