17 Dec Billie Eilish Releases Trailer for Documentary ‘The Worlds a Little Blurry’
The 18-year old star with 5 Grammys, Billie Eilish, is getting her own documentary film. The documentary was directed by award-winning filmmaker R.J Cutler and is coming to Apple TV+ and theaters on February 26th, 2021. The film is titled “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry.” The official trailer for the film was released on Tuesday, December 15th.
Eilish has broken many global records, being the youngest artist ever to be nominated for all 4 major Grammy Awards in one year. She then became the second person and only woman in history to sweep all 4 major categories. This film will give us an inside look into the award-winning singer-songwriters artistic process and her life outside of music.
The Baird-O’Connell Family
As we all know, the young star, Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, has quickly rose to become one of the biggest names in music. The singer-songwriter creates most of her music with her older brother, Finneas. Finneas is also a well-known singer-songwriter, with songs such as “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night” and “Break My Heart Again.”
The two stars were raised in Los Angeles by parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, who are both shown in the documentary.
Eilish’s Debut Album
In 2019, the artist released her first full-length album, written with the help of her brother, Finneas. The album, “When We Fall, Where Do We Go?” became the most played album on both Spotify and Apple Music, and earned 2 Grammy nominations.
The documentary film is expected to follow Billie and Finneas in their creation of the award-winning album. The film will cover the coming-of-age story of the young singer-songwriter and her rise to global fame.
The trailer, released on December 15th, begins with Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell practicing a secret handshake in the bedroom where most of their music was created. It also includes videos of the star when she was a young child.
The trailer continues to show Billie doing a celebration dance, because she passed her drivers test. The artist even admitted that she still sleeps in her parents bed because she is “scared of monsters.”
The trailer cuts to Eilish performing to a packed crowd, telling them, “You guys need to be OK because y’all are the reason I’m OK, OK?”
The film looks to be an incredible documentary that will give fans an inside look at the life of Billie!
