Cocktails to Craft Up for Your Super Bowl Sunday

The Super Bowl is the perfect day to indulge in all your favorite snacks and drinks. Instead of just sitting back with a few cold ones, get creative and make some Super Bowl inspired cocktails!

Whether watching alone, with family or over Zoom with friends, check out these unique cocktails for your Super Bowl LV watch party. Ranging from Kansas City BBQ cocktails, to sangria these delicious drinks are ones you want to miss!

Beer Margarita

Instead of just having a bottle of beer, spice it up margarita style! Rub lime slices along the edge of your margarita glasses and dip the rims into salt. In a pitcher, mix beer, limeade and tequila.

Add ice to your glasses and pour your mixture in. Add some lime wedges for garnish and enjoy!

Winter Sangria

You can never go wrong with a sangria pitcher. Combine two bottles of dry red wine, cranberries, one cup orange liqueur (Campari or Aperol), orange slices and apple slices into a large pitcher.

Chill the sangria. After letting the sangria refrigerate, serve and enjoy! 

Big Game Shandy

A light and refreshing drink for your heavy appetizers is the Big Game Shandy. Combine 10 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila, 24 parts lemonade, 12 parts Mexican lager and two parts fresh lime juice.

Mix ingredients together and pour over ice to serve!

Third and Long

This drink is simple, but tasty and effective. Combine one ounce The Bitter Truth pink gin, one ounce Elderflower liqueur and one to two dashes of cucumber bitters. Pour the mixture over ice in a tall glass and fill the rest of the glass up with tonic water.

Add some lemon slices, cucumber slices and fresh mint to garnish!

Blood, Sweat and Tears

If there’s anything that can help you get through a close game, it’s rum. Combine two ounces white rum, half an ounce lime juice and 0.75 ounces of passionfruit juice. Shake ingredients and serve over ice.

Add Gosling’s Black Seal rum as a float and garnish with lime to seal the deal on this tasty drink!

Kansas City BBQ Sour

Kansas City Chiefs fans, this one will get you ready for the big day. Combine 2 ounces pf Teremana Reposado, 1 ounce of lemon juice, 0.5 ounces of cloudy apple juice, 0.25 ounces of maple syrup and one tsp of Kansas City style BBQ sauce. Shake and strain the ingredients into your old fashioned glass for a true Kansas City treat.

Garnish with lemon and apple wheels and cracked pepper.
