18 Apr Dale Moss Addresses Relationship with Clare and Rumors of Cheating
Dale Moss addressed his relationship with Clare Crawley on the Hollywood Raw Podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn.
The former “Bachelorette” contestant addressed the cheating rumors that many believe led to their split.
The pair got engaged on Crawley’s season of “The Bachelorette” and ended their relationship only five months after going public with their relationship.
Dale’s Statements
Dale Moss did not give aways much during his appearance on the Hollywood Raw podcast.Moss discussed the status of his relationship with ex-fiance, Clare Crawley.
The former football player said, “I haven’t talked a lot about the relationship and neither has Clare and you know with us, we’re really, really focused on one another and just building things properly.”
When they first broke up, the internet broke out with rumors that Dale had been cheating on Clare.
Moss addressed the cheating allegations saying, “That was never a conversation, even when we went through our split. It wasn’t even a thing.”
The model also said, “It was never even a topic of conversation… You really have to look past that and focus on one another. I mean, that sucked. When things are going at your character and something you’re completely against, those are the hardest things to handle.”
The two have been spending time together since their split, but it is still unclear if they are dating or not.
After their split in January, the two have sparked rumors of a possible reconciliation. Moss and Crawley have been spotted out together in New York City several times and were even seen sharing a kiss last month. The pair also shared posts of themselves spending time together on their Instagram Stories earlier this month.
“We’ve never hid throughout this entire time that we’ve been around each other,” said Dale. “Or, you know, like, we’re not going and trying to hide out from people in a mask, wear a mask and a hoodie and sunglasses.”
However, the model did say he and Crawley are in “a good place.” He called the Sacramento-based hairstylist “one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my life” and added, “We love each other tremendously.”
The Relationship
Clare Crawley and Dale Moss met on season 16 of “The Bachelorette” and left early together. Dale proposed to Clare 12 days into filming the show.
The couple was engaged until January. However, photos started surfacing later hinting that the two were working things out.
In January, Dale announced on Instagram that he and Crawley split. This came as a shock to no one besides Clare. Crawley said that she found out about the breakup on the internet just like everyone else.
The Breakup
The Bachelorette alum posted her thoughts in an Instagram post and the same comments on her IG story.
“I was made aware of a “mutual” statement at the same time you all were, so I’ve needed some time to really digest this. Speaking for myself, my intentions with this relationship have always been very clear, so the truth is I am crushed.”
She continued , “This was not what I expected or hoped for and am still trying to process this. 2020 was one hell of a year, with covid, battling severe anxiety post-show, balancing a public new relationship, all while slowly losing my mother. It hasn’t been ideal circumstances, but that is life right.”
Clare ended saying “I have been looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel. Our relationship was not perfect, but I can say that I may not have all the answers, but I do know this- I will continue to show up, stand by my word, and be committed to love. Xo Clare.”
Then the rumors began to spread that Dale had been cheating on Clare, and that was the reason for the split.
Where Are They Now?
Dale was asked about his current relationship with Crawley. Moss said they are “in a good place.” However, he didn’t confirm outright whether or not they are back together.
For those wondering whether or not they’re still engaged after their split, Dale didn’t answer that either. “I’ll say this, Clare and I are in a good place. Focused on one another and leave it at that,” he said.
