26 Nov Dancing with the Stars Recap : The Finale!
“Dancing with the Stars” crowned their season 29 winners, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev! The “Bachelorette” alum stole everyone’s hearts during the entire season. She has been a stand out favorite from the beginning and deserved every moment of her epic win.
Kaitlyn has had her eye on the trophy for five years and has finally reached her goal. Her partner, Artem, has never won the trophy in nine seasons as a pro. This must be such a great feeling for the two!
Details on the Dancing
The duo performed a repeat of their Argentine Tango to “Toxic” by Britney Spears. They also performed another dance to “Sparkling Diamonds” from “Moulin Rouge” for their final performance. The two performances got everyone talking. These dances showed how much Kaitlyn has grown as a competitor and dancer.
For those that were rooting for “Catfish” host Nev Schulman, the results were very shocking. A lot of people thought that Nev had the competition in the bag, but Kaitlyn wasn’t going down without a fight, and definitely wasn’t coming to lose.
Ultimately, Nev and his partner Jenna Johnson came in second place and showed no signs of hard feelings. Everyone had an enjoyable night and really put their best foot forward and onto the dance floor the entire experience.
Finishing in third place, Nelly was very proud of his performance! The music artist was disappointed for not taking home the trophy. He killed his last two dances and definitely deserved to be in the top 3.
A Dress to Be Remembered
Another part of the finale that everyone is talking about is the host, Tyra Banks’ dress. Her dress resembled what some are saying “big bird” or even a “cleaning product. ” All of Twitter was talking about this finale fashion choice, as it was very large and had tulle coming out of every corner of it!
Tyra did a great job as a host throughout the whole season, and this probably wasn’t the ending she was looking for.
