Dinner Is Served: Lean Turkey Meatballs!

Welcome back to “Dinner Is Served!” Start your week off with a recipe that is as easy as it is delicious. This week we will be making turkey meatballs! Turkey meatballs are a tasty and more lean alternative to the beloved meatball and spaghetti duo! So grab your aprons and let’s dive right in!


  • ⅓ cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • ⅓ cup of Italian seasoning bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon of dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 pound of ground turkey meat
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil


  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl combine the cheese, breadcrumbs, herbs and spices. Then add your turkey meat to the bowl and mix.
  • In a small bowl beat an egg and combine this egg into your large bowl mixture.
  • With a spoon scoop about one and a half inch meatballs from your mix onto your baking sheet. 
  • Once all of your meatballs are ready on the baking sheet, dust your meatballs with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes and then plate with your desired pasta and sauce!
  • Enjoy!
