30 Apr ‘Drag Race’ Winner Symone Suprises Lizzo for Her Birthday
Is there a better birthday present than the hottest drag queen at the moment? “RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner, Symone, sashayed and slayed away at Lizzo’s Las Vegas birthday party.
The drag queen surprised Lizzo for her special day and it’s safe to say it looked like the best birthday ever!
The Surprise
At Lizzo’s 33rd birthday bash, the winner of season 13 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Symone, surprised the “Good as Hell” singer for her special day. Before Symone entered, Lizzo was told to stand up as RuPaul’s “Supermodel (You Better Work)” played on the speakers.
As the newest “Drag Race” winner strutted down the hallway and made her grand entrance, Lizzo went crazy and immediately hugged her. An impromptu photoshoot and dance session was completely necessary.
“Happy birthday @lizzobeeating!! Thank you for having me! Love you diva,” Symone wrote on Instagram.
Lizzo also posted photos of her night, including ones with the drag queen.
“The most special-est time with the most special-est people,” the singer wrote.

This might have been Lizzo’s best birthday gift ever! She’s been wearing Symone’s merch on her Instagram and caught the queen’s attention. The “Juice” singer was proudly, #teamSymone, through the whole season.
“It’s kind of surreal, because it’s like, you always hear the stories of the other queens getting fans, but at least for me, I was like, ‘Oh, these girls see me?! They’re repping me?! They know the Ebony Enchantress, darling! I’m always just humbled by it,” Symone told ET.
This birthday surprise comes just a few days after Symone was crowned winner of the reality TV show. Symone revealed she caught RuPaul’s eye from the beginning.
“She’s not one to hide her emotions, I’ll tell you that. So, I was very much aware of how she felt about me, and it just made me be like, ‘I’m going to go on this runway, I’m about to turn it. I’m about to do this challenge,’” she said.
“…It just made me more invigorated to be like, ‘Let’s do it. Let’s turn it. Let’s make her proud. I want to see that smile, baby. I want to see her light up.’”
Well if Symone has RuPaul and Lizzo’s approval, we’re surely only going to be seeing more of her!
