Dua Lipa Drops New Album “Future Nostalgia”

Dua Lipa dropped her second album titled “Future Nostalgia” on March 27, 2020. Lipa had pre-released the top-hit single ‘Don’t Start Now,’ followed by the iconic bop ‘Physical,’ teasing fans with a little sneak peak at what beauty the rest of the album would provide.

Overall, the album contains 11 songs. The title is quite fitting: every song provides a 80’s pop/90’s club style rhythm, with a modern day electronic twist.

Lipa plays around with her vocal range in ‘Hallucinate,’  repeats herself a few times in ‘Good in Bed’ and keeps things snappy in ‘Cool.’ Each song is catchy in its own way, and Lipa’s voice acts as a sweet supplement to the tuneful beats.

Amidst a stressful and lonely time due to COVID-19 (and the social distancing/quarantining we should all be participating in), Dua Lipa has gifted the world with the ability to bring the party to their own living room. Thanks to the generational blend of harmonies, this album is one the whole family can happily dance together to!
