Henry Golding is officially a dad! The “Crazy Rich Asians” star and wife Liv Lo welcomed their first baby together!

The couple of 7 years took to Instagram to celebrate news. Golding, 34, announced the news on Monday, April 5.
“This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Your strength brought us our greatest joy,” Golding captioned his post.
The black and white photo showed both him and Lo embracing the newborn. New mommy,Liv Lo posted a slide show of her awaiting the newborn.
“On March 31st our lives changed forever,” she wrote.
Lo also said she would be leaving Instagram for maternity leave. However, she assured her 240k followers that she’ll be back soon.
“I’ll [probably] be up during midnight breastfeeds checking in on you, but otherwise “I’ll be back” xx.”
Henry and Liv
The new parents met on New Year’s Day 2011, then became engaged in 2015. In August of 2916, they tied the knot in Sarawak, Malaysia.
Lo’s announced her pregnancy in November of 2020. Much like Golding, “Crazy Rich Asians” co-star Constance Wu became a first time mother back in 2020.
In the photos Lo shared, two of them featured her in a hospital, awaiting to go into labor. The third is a black and white photo of Lo going into labor, and the last is a close-up of the couple’s newborn. Additionally, the couple did not reveal the baby’s name nor sex in either posts.
It seems like the baby already has the new-parents wrapped around their little finger. Golding posted a short clip to his Instagram, of his baby’s tiny smile.
“The breaker of daddy’s around the world…” wrote Golding.
Support and Congrats
Many of couple’s colleagues and fans congratulated the new parents on Instagram.
“Congrats and welcome to the no-sleep club,” news anchor Steve Lai responded. Actress Olivia Munn sent a string of red hearts on the baby post.
Television host Max Long wrote a heartfelt message addressed to the couple
“Dearest Liv and Henry, we wanted to wish you and your sweetheart nothing but love…” he began. “We can’t wait to meet [them] and anything u need in LA just shout. Sending love.”
Other public figures congratulating the couple were Melody Yoko, Will Yun Lee, WWE superstar Mojo and Marvel artist Rob Liefeld.
