27 Jul Iggy Azalea Will No Longer Be Posting Photos of Son Onyx
Iggy Azalea says she will no longer share photos of her son, Onyx, online.
Mama Bear Mode
In a tweet shared on Friday, the “Fancy” rapper announced that she will be keeping her son’s life more private from now on.
It read, “I’ve decided I won’t be posting about onyx or sharing images online anymore. Y’all not about to be out here playing with my baby on my watch, nope!”
She then followed up with a second tweet stating, ” “I don’t play about my baby. At ALLLLLLL.”
Iggy Azalea’s inner “mama bear mode” came out after one Twitter user was dragging Onyx’s dinosaur onsie.
The rapper responded to the user on Twitter, “”Imagine being so miserable that you bully a one year old child for picking his own outfit. Y’all so corny and bored and it’s really a damn shame.”
Not Playing Around
When one Playboi fan tried to convince Iggy that there was no “ill intent” with the tweets surrounding her son, Iggy fired back leaving nothing left unsaid.
“My child is not a sub-brand for his fathers fans to obsess over or clown on because the reality is that y’all don’t like his mom so you think it’s cute to be rude about a baby and what funny stuff he wears,” she said. “Know that I will smack you in person, and so will his dad.”
At one point, Azalea even challenged a Twitter user, when they said that it wasn’t that deep. “Come say that sh*t in real life and find out that it is,” she said.
This news comes right after the Australian rapper gave a shocking announcement that her upcoming third studio album, “End of an Era” will in fact mark the end of an era for her music career, at least for a few years.
In a tweet posted on July 15th, Azalea told her fans, “End of an Era is so special to me because after I drop my album next month I am going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music.”
“I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future,” she added. “Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing!”
While it is unclear exactly what projects Iggy will be working on in the future, one thing is certain, that she will be enjoying her time with Onyx.
