Jennifer Lopez “Heartbroken” Over Delayed Wedding Plans

Coronavirus has affected everyone’s 2020 plans and no one is safe, not even Jennifer Lopez and her special day.

Jennifer Lopez is heartbroken after having to postpone her upcoming nuptials to fiance Alex Rodriguez, indefinitely due to COVID-19.

The pair has looked forward to tying the knot since last year when Rodriguez popped the question last March.

In an interview with the Today Show yesterday, Lopez opened up about indefinitely postponing her wedding to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez due to the coronavirus pandemic. Lopez and Rodriguez were originally set to wed this summer in Italy.

Lopez vented to Hoda Kotb about the effect the virus had on their nuptials, “Nobody knows because, really, there’s no planning right now,’ she explained. “You just have to kind of wait and see how this all plays out, and it’s disappointing on one level. You know, after the Super Bowl and after ‘World of Dance,’ after we finished filming it, I planned to take time off.”

“Which is what we’re doing kind of right now, but at the same time, you know, we had a lot of plans for this summer and this year. But everything’s kind of on hold right now.”

“I’m a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans,” Lopez admitted.

According to a report from Us Weekly, the wedding had already been completely planned and paid for.

Lopez is keeping an optimistic outlook during the pandemic and said, “I’m also like, ‘You know what? God has a bigger plan.’ So we just have to wait and see. Maybe it’s going to be better.I have to believe that it will be.”
