07 Dec JoJo Siwa Reveals She Is Working on New Projects
Internet sensation JoJo Siwa has been working extremely hard to create new content and music for her fanbase!
However, she did share that before the holiday season began her family did test positive for COVID-19. Her family is now fully recovered and the 17-year-old star has been able to work on releasing new projects.
Testing Positive for COVID-19
JoJo Siwa recently shared in an interview with ET that she “did end up getting it, the big, dreaded COVID-19. It got through my whole family.”
Thankfully, JoJo explained that her family’s symptoms were mild, “We had headaches, we were tired, we had shortness of breath, we had all the things,” explained Jojo. “All my family actually lost their taste and smell, but all have it back. But I never did.”
JoJo explained that she was the last member of her family to test positive, after her brother and parents.
“Everyone who gets this virus, it’s gonna affect them differently,” said JoJo.
Her family is now fully recovered, and she has been able to work on releasing new projects for her large fanbase.
Siwa’s Love for the Holidays
JoJo explained her love for the holiday season, and how much it means to her.
“I love the holidays, it’s such a fun time of the year,” Siwa shared. “It’s fun because [there’s] always something happening. For us, it’s Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year — and you just always have something to look forward to.”
New Holiday Project
Because of her love for the holiday season, JoJo has been working tirelessly to release a new holiday project.
While many celebrities have put their career on pause during the pandemic, the internet sensation has been working nonstop to release new content.
During this holiday season, JoJo dropped a festive new single and music video for one her favorite Christmas songs, “Where Are You Christmas,” which is featured on her new holiday EP, “JoJo’s Rockin’ Christmas.”
The holiday EP, “JoJo’s Rockin’ Christmas,” features “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “Run Run Rudolph”. The EP also features an original Christmas song titled “It’s Christmas Now,” which is a Christmas remix of her hit song “High Top Shoes.”
