26 Jan Justin Bieber Reflects on His 2014 Arrest
Justin Bieber “Believes,” in “Changes.” The 26-year-old took to social media to reflect on his past and how he has evolved.
The singer spoke candidly about his arrest back in 2014. This post marked the seven-year anniversary of his arrest.
On Saturday January 23rd, The superstar shared his honest feelings surrounding the seven-year anniversary to his arrest. Bieber took to Instagram to reflect on his journey and how he and his relationship with God has evolved.
He captioned his pic “7 years ago today I was arrested, not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in life. I was hurting, unhappy, confused, angry, mislead, misunderstood and angry at god.. I also wore too much leather for someone in Miami,” he joked. “All this to say God was as close to me then as he is right now. My encouragement to you is to ‘let your past be a reminder of how far god has brought you.”
He continued by adding, “don’t allow shame to ruin your “today” let the forgiveness of Jesus take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has designed you to be. LOVE YOU GUYS WITH MY WHOLE HEART.”
Attached to this caption, is a picture of Bieber with his hands cuffed behind his back while he is being escorted by 4 cops.
It was during this time that Bieber was prompted with a sobriety test, which he subsequently failed. He was later charged with a DUI, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license. His mugshot at the time, was posted by several news outlets.
Although that was a time infamous time in Bieber’s career, it’s safe to say it was a long time ago.
“Mark his words,” because he’s giving you his “confirmation,” that he’s a changed man. Whether it was a “One Time,” thing or not, we “Trust,” that Bieber will “Be Alright.”
