28 Jan Kenya Moore and Marc Daly Call It Quits for the Second Time
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore and her husband Marc Daly have decided to call it quits, yet again.
“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” Daly told The Root. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with abundance of love and wisdom.”
It’s Real This Time
Over the last few years, the couple’s on again- off again relationship has played out on Bravo’s hit reality show. From explosive fights, to Moore banning Daly from their home, their drama has been well documented and used as a major storyline for the show.
In past seasons, there has been a lot of speculation regarding the validity of many of Moore’s romantic relationships. Fans of the show, along with some of her RHOA co-stars, have accused the former Miss USA winner of arranging faux relationships to boost show ratings and create a storyline for herself. Accusations which Moore, 50, has always denied.
In fact, to quiet those rumors, the couple decided to wed in a private ceremony in St. Lucia in June 2017, refusing to allow Bravo’s camera crew to film. Because of this, Moore’s “main cast” role was demoted to guest appearances only.
Milestones in 2018
In November 2018, the couple welcomed daughter, Brooklyn Daly.
Moore, who underwent IVF to conceive her daughter told PEOPLE magazine, “I waited most of my life to have a child. So I knew all the anguish that someone feels, to think that I may not be able to have a dream of having a child.”
The First Split in 2019
September 2019, 10-months after the birth of their daughter, the couple announced their first split. They would see each other for the first time since the split to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday.
The End of it All in 2020
In an April 2020 appearance, On Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Moore confirmed that the couple decided to work on their complicated relationship.
“I have not filed for a divorce. He did file and withdrew it less than 24-hours later, so we’ve gotten past that.” She continued, “Right now Marc is fighting for his marriage. He wants to go to counseling. He’s made appointments. He’s asking to publicly apologize to me and a lot of things that I never thought I’d see the day.”
