26 May Kim Kardashian Denies Travis Barker Hookup Rumors
Rumors have been swirling that Travis Barker and Kim Kardashian once had a fling. Travis Barker’s ex, Shanna Moakler even stated that Kim was the reason for her divorce from Travis.
Kardashian has taken to Instagram to clear these rumors up. She says that she and Travis are just friends and never hooked up.
The Rumors
Shanna Moakler claims that she caught Kim Kardashian and Travis Barker having an affair years ago. She clarified that she was talking about Kim, alleging, “Someone sent me all their [text] conversations and I’m also close friends with people who were there, while things were happening.”
Shanna has also said, “He had already had an affair with Paris Hilton. And…at the time Kim was Paris’s closet organizer, they were best friends. And he started using [Kim] as a model for [his clothing company], Famous Stars and Straps.”
These rumors were especially shocking because Barker, 45, has been dating Kourtney, 42, Kardashian since earlier this year.
Kim and Travis
The rumors had some basis because Travis and Kim have known each other for quite some time. Barker even mentioned Kim in a previous interview. He met kim through Paris Hilton with whom he did hook up with in the past.
He referred to the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star “eye candy.”
“How could you not stare at Kim?” the rocker said in 2015. “Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim!”
This might be awkward for the Kardashian family, but does it mean that they had a fling?
Kim Clears Things Up
Kim Kardashian went on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday saying, “Getting my nails done right now and I have time today, ask me anything…”
Naturally, a fan asked her whether she and the Blink-182 drummer had ever hooked up. Aubrey O’Day added fuel to the fire with a quote from her own Instagram from July 2020.
“NO!” Kardashian wrote in response. “False narrative! We’ve been friends for years and I’m so happy for him and Kourt.”
