According to Forbes annual “World’s Billionaire List,” Kim Kardashian is officially a billioniare! She joins an elite list composed of business moguls like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kanye West

Much of Kardashian’s money comes from the success of her long-running reality TV show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” and her beauty brands.
Her frequent endorsement deals – for which she is paid handsomely – also add to her wealth.
The beauty mogul’s latest venture, “Skims”, a shapewear brand launched in 2019, is valued at $500 million. Forbes estimates Kardashian’s stake in Skims is worth $225 million.
Kardashian’s stakes in KKW Beauty and Skims were “enough to lift her fortune to $1 billion,” says Forbes.
Her massive social media fan-base has proved crucial in the growth of, “KKW Beauty,” which frequently releases cosmetic products in collaboration with one or more of her sisters.
The Journey
The 40-year-old entrepreneur witnessed a massive surge in wealth in the latter half of last year. Kardashian gained more than $200 million since October, when she supposedly had a net worth of $780 million.
Her breakthrough into the billionaire club comes five years after Forbes’ announcement of her hitting the $1 million mark.
Kim is the second member of her family to be crowned a billionaire. In 2019, her youngest sister Kylie Jenner was named the youngest “self-made” billionaire, at 21. However, since then, Forbes reported Jenner was inflating the sales figures of her company, losing her billionaire status.
The Future
The news of the beauty icon’s monetary success arrives shortly after she filed for divorce from long-term partner and father of her children, Kanye West.
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is another chapter closing in the influencer’s life. The show’s 20th and final season is airing now. However, Kim Kardashian and the royal family of reality TV are moving to Hulu, with “new global content.”
And of course, the mom of four is still studying to become a lawyer!
