Glitz! Glam! And Gloss!

As a part of Los Angeles Fashion Week, the Lumiere Runway Show took place Saturday afternoon at the Sunset Room Hollywood.

While guests lined up for the red carpet, upbeat music danced through the atmosphere allowing everyone to let loose, strike a pose and show off their hip style.

The high-energy trio hosted the event; Arthur Clark, known for playing Deion Sander in NBCs Young Rock, Television and Digital Host Sarah Moliski and model, actress and hookah influencer Ilo Musk.

The fashion designers, exquisite models and performers Shannon K, Lexy Panterra and Finley brought tons of spunk to the runway.

The Designers

Here comes the bride! The show started with Royal Lily Boutique, bridal gowns by Lujen Labib. The dresses were intricately designed with beads, sequence, pearls and tool, awaiting the perfect bride-to-be! It’s all about the details, as Labib stated that each dress takes approximately 100 hours to complete.

The next designer, Coral Castillo, who was runner-up on Season 19 of Project Runway and winner of Episode 5 of STITCHED, presented her new collection, LUNA. LUNA consists of six looks: white moon, full moon, red moon, gibbous moon, moon’s umbra and burgundy moon. According to Castillo, the line is inspired by the Aztec goddess of the moon.

Then, Leontine Abdullah, known for costume design on Angry Insecure Men 2 and The Millennial, showcased her spring and summer collection comprising chic cocktail and maxi dresses, perfect for a night out. Her designs have circulated on WeTV, BET and MTV.

Up next, shoe enthusiast and unique designer Mark Celentano’s designs took the runway. The rustic, graffiti-like artwork was situated on blazers and boots like a blank canvas. What a wow factor!

Hafanana Swimwear made a splashing hit, debuting various swimsuits with a Brazilian flair. The models rocked colorful jewelry accompanied by matching fruit headdresses. The line’s slogan is “Every body is a beach body,” and we could not agree more!

Finally, the show concluded with two rising jewelry designers, Vintage Fusion Jewelry by Elizabeth Clar. She designs wearable art made with vintage and thrifted materials. And, RasaNari’s collection, “Pizzazz,” depicts a “bold and beautiful woman in black and bling.”

We cannot wait to see what’s next for these talented designers and their well-crafted collections!
