04 May Met Gala 2020 & Best Looks From The Past
Beyonce at the 2015 Met Gala.
It’s Met Monday and things are looking a little different this year.Like many events this year, due to coronavirus concerns the Met Gala event, which traditionally takes place on the first Monday in May has been postponed.
The theme for this year’s Met Gala would have been “About Time: Fashion and Duration” (which is actually quite apt because it’s ABOUT TIME that this pandemic ends).
The theme is inspired by Virginia Woolf and her queer novel, Orlando and the theories of the French philosopher Henri Bergson.
For those of you that are missing their yearly dose of the Met Gala, Vogue will be hosting a celebration of past Met Galas today exclusively on Youtube.
