On Privilege
“When it first happened I was like, why is everyone complaining, I’m confused what we did- and that’s embarrassing to admit that I walked around my whole 20 years of life not realizing, like, you have insane privilege, you are the poster child of white privilege.”
Olivia received some pushback from Jada on this, questioning whether or not Olivia realizes why she, a Black woman, might not be impressed by this confession.
“I don’t want pity, I don’t deserve pity, I just want the chance to recognize I messed up,” she responds.
An anonymous ET source says “Olivia has been wanting to get back in the limelight and share her side of things for some time now and is looking forward to getting back out there.”
Indeed, Olivia talks about returning to her internet career with a new perspective on the world.
“When I was on YouTube, it was all.. let’s go for my dream, and now I realize that there are big problems out there in the world that is outside my bubble and I’m so comfortable that I don’t have to go outside- but how much better of a person would you be if you used your blessings to help somebody else?”
