03 Jul Olivia Rodrigo and Adam Faze Spotted Together Amid Romance Rumors
It’s not looking brutal out here any longer for Olivia Rodrigo. Olivia Rodrigo and Adam Faze are sparking relationship rumors!
The rising pop star and singer of “Drivers License,” may finally be moving on after her rumored heart break with co-star Joshua Bassett.
Olivia, 18, was spotted with music producer Adam Faze, 24, as her plus one at a recent Space Jam 2 premiere. Sources close to Olivia said that she was introducing Faze as her boyfriend and the two were holding hands.
“Olivia was in great spirits celebrating Space Jam 2 last night. They were really cute together and weren’t trying to hide their affection at all,” the source claimed.
Although this was the first even where the two were spotted together, E! News was told that the two secretly started dating weeks before. The source added that they met through some friends in the industry.
In a TikTok video posted by @stuartbrazell you can see the two sharing some subtle PDA.
So who exactly is Olivia’s new boyfriend? Adam Faze is a talented man who wears many hats.
He previously was employed as a contributor for Forbes when he was 20. According to his bio on the website, Adam was “a twenty-year-old storyteller and creative entrepreneur focused on one thing and one thing only: the future of entertainment. Adam is the co-founder of Chateau Savant, an event series that launched this year during the Cannes Film Festival… ”
More recently, Faze has worked as a producer, writer, and director. He is the executive producer for a TV series “Day by Day” and has produced other smaller projects such as How Moving and River Fork, coming out later this year. Adding to the list, Faze directed Goody Grace’s music video for “Nothing Good” which features G-Eazy and Juicy J.
Faze currently runs a production company alongside Jamie Dolan.
The former Disney star’s debut album, “Sour” took the world by storm following her mega hit single “Drivers License.” The smash hit album “logged eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100,” according to Billboard.com.
With the release of her first song, rumors quickly swirled around over who the song was written about. Fans came to the conclusion that Joshua Bassett was the most likely option, and things got a little bit messy.
Joshua and Olivia were co-stars on the Disney+ series “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” The two played each other’s love interests on the show but many fans speculated that their romance didn’t end with the camera, although it was never officially confirmed that they were an item.
The shoe just fit well, in fact maybe too well. Olivia even made indirect references to Joshua’s new girlfriend, Sabrina Carpenter. Both Bassett and Carpenter released singles following “Driver’s License” which added even more fuel to the love triangle fire.
With the entirety of the album “Sour” being about her heartbreak, we only hope that Olivia will find her chance to be happy again, and it looks as if she is well on her way!
