The Real Reason Victoria Quit

As if we couldn’t get enough Kardashian/ Jenner drama, Kylie Jenner’s personal assistant of five years, Victoria Villarroel, just quit being her right-wing woman to pursue her own career as an Instagram influencer! US Weekly reports that, with over 900,000 followers, Villarroel hopes to begin her own brand.
According to Elite Daily, Victoria began working for the Kardashians in 2012. She was a student at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), when she got hired as an intern for Kris Jenner at Jenner Communications. In 2015, she got promoted to be Kylie’s personal assistant and has been for five years, gaining a close friendship with the makeup mogul. Sources claim that while she was having fun working for her friend, it was a long time to be someone’s assistant. Now that she has assisted Kylie throughout the years growing her brand with her makeup and skin line, Villarroel has plans to work on making her business as an influencer.
While it may seem like there might be potential bad blood between Kylie and Victoria for her sudden change-of-career, it was a mutual agreement for the two of them as they are both going through creative growth with their careers. In fact, they are still really close friends, even going to events together. Victoria also squashed rumors of bad-blood with Kylie by posting a statement on her instagram story:
“You guys! lol don’t believe everything you read please! this story is false. I worked with Kylie for 5 years and she became one of my closest friends. We both decided it was time to grow without each other professionally about a year ago! she’s still one of my best friends and our relationship has only gotten stronger. now let’s focus our time and energy on other things! a lot is happening in the world right now.”
With Kylie reposting the story, saying, “I love you bitch.”
It’s safe to say that Victoria and Kylie remain close friends, despite going their separate ways with the both of them wishing each other well for their respective careers.
