11 Jul Scoop Sorority: The Power Of List Making
It is no secret that college life can be very stressful. You have your demanding professors, upcoming assignments and a social life that you want to keep up with. Maybe, you have a job too. Which is just another demanding thing to add to your already full plate. On this episode of Sorority Scoop let me introduce something in your life that might actually make it easier.
Look, I get it. I really do. It can feel very overwhelming. You don’t want to end up forgetting something important. There’s so much to do and you want to be able to do it all without losing your hair.
What I have done for the longest time to help me manage all the things that I have to do on a daily basis is make a list. I draw some empty boxes and write the tasks I want to complete. Sometimes they’ll be tasks I want to complete that day. Sometimes I’ll make a list of the things I want to accomplish for the week.
Making a list will not only help keep your mind on track but it is so satisfying to check the boxes when you complete a task. No matter how big or small the task may be at least you did it. It’s one less thing to worry about. The sense of pride and relief you feel afterward is so nice.
Plus you can buy a really cute notebook to write it all in. I personally have what my friends would call an “addiction” to buying notebooks. It’s not my fault, they’re really cute and I like to write everything down. If it doesn’t hurt anyone, I don’t see the problem.
Try this simple trick and see if it will work for you!
