Six Fun and Refreshing Summer Cocktails to Try Out

As the weather warms up, the drinks cool down! There’s simply nothing better than new refreshing and tasty summer cocktails! Kick back, grab a drink and enjoy the warm weather with your closest friends

Strawberry Vodka Lemonade

This refreshing cocktail is simply spiked lemonade combined with fresh fruit, making the perfect summer drink. Press four strawberries at the bottom of the glass, over ice, pour three ounces of lemonade and one and a half ounces of vodka. This is a go-to drink for picnics, at the beach and barbecues! 

Blue Lavender Vodka Spritzer

There’s something so tasty and satisfying about lavender in the summer. For a blue lavender vodka spritzer, combine one cup water, one cup sugar and one cup blueberries in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring the dissolve the sugar and add lavender sprigs. Over ice, combine two cups vodka, four ounces lime juice, club soda to taste, blueberries and lavender for garnish. 

Watermelon Cucumber Cooler

The combination of watermelon and cucumber just screams summer. For  citrus flavor, use Aviation Gin in this watermelon cucumber cooler! Combine one and a half ounces of watermelon juice, three slices of cucumber, one and a half ounces gin, half ounce simple syrup, one and a half ounces of soda water and 3/4 lime juice. Add a pinch of salt and garnish with a cucumber slice!

Grapefruit Shandy

Grapefruit and a shandy? Sounds like summer to me! Shake together grapefruit juice, lemonade, add half a bottle of your favorite beer and get to drinking! Make this grapefruit shandy individually or in large batches for your summer get togethers!

Pineapple Mimosa

This pineapple mimosa is a tasty twist on the classic mimosa. Combine one ounce pineapple vodka, half ounce lemon juice, half ounce orange juice, half ounce honey syrup and top it off with two to three ounces of prosecco. Garnish with an orange peel and relax!

Apricot Sunray Punch

This yummy apricot sunray punch combines classic sangria and champagne punch recipes! Hennessy Black is the best liquor for this drink, adding jasmine, orange and floral tastes. In a large punchbowl, combine half a bottle of cognac, one bottle sparkling wine, three cups apricot liqueur and one and a half cups apricot nectar. 

Squeeze six to seven lemons, 12 blood oranges and slice four to six apricots, five lemons and one blood orange. Add in 12 brandied cherries and pour a glass! One refreshing sip will remind you why this is one of the best summer cocktails.
