The Challenge’s Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley Have Split

MTV’s fan favorite couple, Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley have sadly called it quits, ending their year and four-month engagement.

The Announcement

The reality TV stars shared the breakup via emotional Instagram posts.

“It’s been one of the toughest stretches of my life to silently struggle with our happiness and love,” said Wiseley, 30. “She will always be one of my best friends in this world and no one will ever truly be able to understand the depths of our understanding for one on another, like we do.”

Deal, 27, took to Instagram to explain how hard this is on them, but stressed the split was amicable.

“I thought I knew love when Jordan and I were together, but there is a different love that two people feel when they decide it’s time to experience life apart,” wrote Deal. “Even though, Jordan and I are going to be moving forward in separate ways, our love, support, and connection with one another only grows stronger and deeper.”

Deal concluded by asking fans to give them time to heal.

“Please understand that even though this is very amicable, we’re both still processing, hurting, and healing,” she said. “The world can be cruel and the last thing we want is for people to try to pin us against one another. So please, let us heal in peace. Thank you.”

The Couple’s History

Deal and Wiseley’s relationship began on screen, when they met in 2017 on MTV’s “The Challenge XXX: Dirty 30.” Deal, who was in a relationship at the time, was a rookie, coming from MTV’s “Are You the One?” The pair developed a deep friendship, with Wiseley taking Deal under his wing that season.

Both Deal and Wiseley made it to the finals that year. Deal took home third place, while Wiseley was the first place champ.

The two became an item after the season wrapped up and admitted they were dating on the reunion.

Two years later, Wiseley made “The Challenge” history by proposing to Deal during “War of the Worlds 2.”

What’s Next?

The pair made it clear they will continue to support each other in their future endeavors.

Wiseley said, “I think [Tori] lights up the world around her and I can’t wait to watch.”

Although both of them competed on the last season of “The Challenge,” Wiseley will be taking a break this season. As for Deal, she has been confirmed to be a cast member of season 36, “The Challenge: Double Agents.”
